Have you ever heard of the Great Saunter?

It’s an epic urban hike, a 32-mile walk around the circumference of Manhattan, that is both a physical and mental challenge! This will be the 37th Annual Great Saunter that will bring over 2,500 walkers together for an exhilarating daylong adventure. It’s a really cool way to explore NYC, staying as close to the shoreline as possible! Meet people from around the world on this journey. Delight in the city’s newest parks, and learn more about the different neighborhoods of the island from a different perspective

The beginning and end of the walk is at the historical, Fraunces Tavern, on Pearl Street in lower Manhattan. Participants will receive an official Great Saunter bib, hat, map, and pin. Those who complete the entire walk will receive a Finisher Certificate! You’re encouraged to walk until the end, but you are not required to do so.
