One To World Hike: Autumn Leaves at Sugarloaf Hill
October 20 @ 9:00 am - 5:00 pm
Free – $16.00Experience incredible views of the Hudson River this autumn in Garrison, New York!
We are hiking in the Hudson Highlands up Sugarloaf Hill, guided by an historian! We’ll be taking a train from Grand Central along the Hudson River, and then journeying to the top of a scenic overlook. The trees will have started to change colors at this point in the season, offering a captivating view. You can expect a mix of rugged terrain and breathtaking views as the trail winds through a dense forest and ridge. The experience will also include some revolutionary war history as the region had strategic significance in the battle for American independence.

He is the author of Crossing Broadway: Washington Heights and the Promise of New York and coauthor of All the Nations Under Heaven: Immigrants, Migrants and the Making of New York.
